AniTa was evaluated as the "best Windows terminal emulator for UNIX applications" according to a leading UNIX supplier.
AniTa makes your text based application look like a Windows application. It gives you 3-D box attributes, color support and adds a graphical touch to your character based applications. Anita also adds multi-media support to your text applications. All this helps extend the life of your UNIX solutions.
AniTa runs over WINSOCK (TCP/IP), NetBIOS and Asynchronous transports.
AniTa supports standard VT100, VT220, VT320, ANSI, Wyse50, Wyse60, SCO Console, Adds Viewpoint and TN3270 emulations, and provides for both 80 and 132 column output. The easy to configure, 3-D box and color options, allow you to assign such attributes even when running an existing application written for text based monochrome screens.
AniTa's easy to use keyboard configuration, allows you to reconfigure any key on the keyboard. Default function key values are pre-configured for the DEC VT100 and DEC VT220 terminals as well as the UNIX SCO and UNIX AT&T SVR4 consoles.
AniTa runs on Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups, NT and Windows 95 workstations.
AniTa includes file transfer via FTP with features such as translation of both text file format and character set. The Ftp client can be run interactive or script-driven. Just click on an icon for automatic transfer of files. An in-built site-manager simplifies access to many different host computers.
AniTa has inbuilt protection from unintentional changes to the configuration.
AniTa can automatically logon to the host computer and execute programs. Hidden logon can be configured so the user just sees his application.
AniTa is also provided as part of Fusion95; the complete PC-to-UNIX connectivity solution via TCP/IP.
