AniTa 4.2 is released and can be downloaded.
AniTa 5.0.0.2 preview available for downloading.
AniTa and AniTaFTP includes support for a new script engine. This makes it possible to execute industry standard scripts in AniTa. One VBA compatible subset scripting engine is included in AniTa.
This new feature makes it possible to control predefined sets of buttons and actions depending on the screen information. You can add mouse support on a way that was not possible before. Certain screen data can trigger buttons, actions and DDE transfer. This is a big subject, and there is a Word document available describing the hotscreen mechanism.
Mouse support extended to perform any keyboard macro and hotscreen action. Example %wordunderpointer%<cr> will send the word the mouse is clicked on terminated with a Carriage Return.
Both left and right mouse buttons are now configurable.
Screen-dump printing now includes configurable support for color and fonts.
It will also be possible to execute external scripts like VBScript and JScript.
AniTa will also be scriptable through COM Automation. This makes it possible to execute methods in AniTa through for example Visual Basic or scripts in Excel or Word or any other software that supports Automation objects.
A visual editor for Hotscreens and Buttons.
Hotspots will be enhanced to include support for many new attributes to format text and images.
Fusion95 4.0 is now available.
Fusion95 version 4 is now shipping and is available for download for evaluation or upgrade. The new features available in version 4.0 include:
New Windows based administration program (in addition to UNIX based administration). The administrator can now configure Fusion95 disks, printers and users from a Windows workstation.
New User-Level security mode. The User-Level security database allows remapping of PC users to UNIX users and the permits a PC user's password to be different from the same user's UNIX login password.
Revolutionary new trigger-technology allows UNIX applications to monitor, filter and change server actions when a user accesses disks and files. Specific actions can be configured to trigger when specific events occur.
For example:
Added support for Windows98 style password encryption (in addition to the UNIX style password encryption used in Fusion95 version 3). In addition support for Password case has been added for use with those clients that support such a feature (currently only NT clients).
