AniTa / PDA Preview

Overview:

The AniTa for PDA product has now been tested on many customer sites.

Platforms:
It runs on platforms supporting .NET Compact Framework 1.0 or better. Some platforms are:
PocketPC 2002
PocketPC 2003
Windows/CE version 4.1
Windows Mobile 6.1

Documentation:
The product is a "preview". It is written in C# and ported from the AniTa/Java version. There is not very much specific .NET documentation available.

Installation:

Install .NET Compact Framework version 1.0 or better. This is sometimes pre-installed in the device. Else get it from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a5a02311-194b-4c00-b445-f92bec03032f&DisplayLang=en
Install the file anitace.exe in the PDA.
There is no special "installer", so you can just browse to this page with our PDA and then click on the link above and your PDA browser will normally ask if you want to download and run anitace.exe. If this for some reason does not work, you can download the .exe file using IE and then attach your PDA to your PC (typically over USB) and copy anitace.exe to the PDA using Active Sync.

Configuring.
Create a text file (use Pocket Word) in the PDA folder: "My Documents". The name of the file must be: anita.ini.txt
Note that the last extension (.txt) is normally not visable in the PocketPC. You should therefor save the file as a "text" file with the name anita.ini.
If you test on a PC, then make it available as: c:\my documents\anita.ini.txt, NOTE version 1.2.0.0 and 2.0.0.0 does not run on a PC (yet).

Terminal=2
You can change this:
2 is vt220
4 is ansi (SCO console)
